The whole idea of camping in a city was completely impractical to start with; we were regretful of making the decision to do it in the first place. From that moment we made the rule: no camping in cities, it never works. By the time you ferry yourself back and forth in taxi’s to the outskirts of the city you may as well have spent that little extra and found a hostel. So with that we found the cheapest hostel we could, conveniently named “Plan B Hostel”, which was actually really expensive at $75 pesos per person a night. We also learnt as we were checking in that we missed the football match by one hour, Iain was pretty gutted, we will try again for him in Buenos Aires.
